Perhaps we should make these forums more presentable to the guild? In my experience, all the guilds/clans/teams or whatever you will call them from any other game I have played all have fairly organized forums. All we have is a General forum and "archive." My old guild had private sections only guild members could access and within those they had like 6 different areas (recruitment, officers, general, off topic, class specific, etc...). Everyone in the guild got really into it and people bond a lot easier too. On any given day the forum would have at least 10 members on at the same time up not upwards to 20 or 30. Any thoughts on improving these forums?

if thats what yall want then i have no problem doin it but from my experience with clans the more complex the forum is and the more ppl on the forum, the less ppl u see ingame actually playing but if yall want more boards make a list of what yall would like and i'll get to work

I actually tried signing up at guildportals, but their site was having issues. oil has done a great job for us, and it has been all we needed. But I agree, with all the recruiting, it may be time to step up to a "real" guild site. I like the layout of guildportals, and all the extra features they have. I will try that again today, hopefully it'll work for me.

Scroll down to summary if you dont want to read my mojo.
Im only a sophomore so I have had my share of video games, but this is the first guild I have been in on any game that did not really enforce forum use strictly. There are a lot of forum whores out there that enjoy just surfing and will just post anything just to pass time (whether at work, home, or school). That allows everyone to start seeing other peoples names and then have a base to work with when they actually see that person in game. From my experience, forums make people want to get on wow more, not the other way around. We dont need anything complex, just a members area with a generals tab that everyone will start using. Also Im not really digging the guildportal design and forums system. We dont need a website, just a forums so people can talk to each other. Websites tend to get put off and guilds end up having the same front page for months without any change. Forums will get constantly updated obviously with people posting and allows player interaction. We need people to start talking with each other so we like each other more and want to stay and participate in the guild.
Summary: We need a better more active forums.
